What is the key blank?

A blank key is a piece that isn't yet cut to a specific bitting. The bitting is the cross-sectional profile of the key, which is matched to a particular lock cylinder. The key blank can also be imprinted with the final logo or name of the manufacturer. The bow or flat end of the key could be identified with a specific brand. This information can then be used to identify keys that have similar flat ends.

The blank of the key could be engraved with a message such as "Do not copy this key" or "It's illegal to duplicate this key." In certain countries, these keys are protected by design or patent and are only available through licensed dealers. What is the main profile?

At the annual Worldwide Developers Conference, or WWDC, Apple introduced an innovative way to unlock and start your car with the iPhone. Apple Car Key uses Bluetooth to connect with your car. Apple Car Key also makes use of the accelerometer on the phone to determine your vehicle's proximity. This technology allows drivers to keep their phones in their pockets even when the vehicle is locked. It also works in the event that they are wearing the phone in an armband or tilted.

The feature is not currently available for all cars. The feature is currently only available on select Mercedes and BMW models. The list includes 2021 and 2022 BMW 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 8 Series, X5, and SUVs with X7 as well as the i4, i8,and iX electric cars. In contrast to third-party digital keys that require special hardware in the car, and an app specifically designed for the phone, Apple Car Key works over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or Ultra Wideband (UWB). The latter is faster than NFC and has built-in protection against relay attacks that could cause phones to be locked when they are not nearby. Apple Car Key requires an iPhone XS running iOS 12.2 and a brand new Apple Watch Series 5 with software 7.5.

Once paired after pairing, once connected, the iPhone can open and lock doors and start the car, change settings and use Express Mode. Express Mode allows drivers to keep their iPhone in their pockets while unlocking the car automatically by a single touch on the lock key, as long as they're wearing an Apple Watch or have Apple CarPlay installed.

Once a car is installed with Car Key, its digital keys can be shared with friends and family via iMessage. You can even temporarily grant access to someone house-sitting. These keys are tokenized within the Wallet app, just like credit cards, hotel room volkswagen keys replacement, and IDs.

At the moment it is the only time that BMW has opted to offer Car Key in a big way, however other manufacturers are likely to come on board soon.
